Las Vegas, NV – Don Me’ Vue Las Vegas Events recently announced the date for the first annual Las Vegas Bikini XPO and Fashion Show 2011. The event is being held March 12th, 2011 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the South Point Hotel and Casino, LV.
The Bikini XPO will feature local and international retailers who specialize in swimwear, beachwear and summer apparel. Consumers will have a unique opportunity to see many of the new 2011 styles before they even hit the stores. Retailers will also have an opportunity to sell their new lines at their booth as well as see their fashion lines live as they go down the runway.
“We have confidence the fashion show will be a main attraction for the retailers to gain a larger exposure to a larger audience, stated Dawn Ferriera, Director of Events & Marketing. However, we believe in this slacking economy, the economical exhibitor fees and the fact it will be open to the public at no charge, is an enormous benefit for our exhibitors. Where else can a small boutique or internet store have so many buyers in one place at one time. It will just be up to the exhibitors to use this opportunity to their advantage.”
Las Vegas, being a desert, has not traditionally been known to attract the retail swimwear industry. However, over the past few years the Las Vegas Hotels have worked diligently to become a World Re’nown luxury destination. This includes providing guests and locals with access to luxurious pools and spas catering to the non-gaming clientele.
With the inclusion of these high end luxury resorts pools have become a main staple of the tourism industry for these resorts. The architecture, lush landscaping and tropical décor attract the beachcomber crowd who long for the sun, sand and water.
“A large segment of the retail industry has been ignored for some time in Las Vegas and we believe the Las Vegas Bikini XPO and Fashion Show will give retailers and consumers an opportunity to create long lasting and loyal customers, Stated Tony Ferriera , Director of Operations, and we intend to help fill that niche”

The 2nd Annual Richard Steele Health & Wellness Community Center Charity Golf Tournament
Richard Steele, Hall of Fame Boxing Referee & Don Me' Vue Las Vegas Events are working in conjunction to host the Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament to raise funds for the Richard Steele Health & Wellness Community Center for Boxing, Kick boxing and Martial Arts. The tournament will take place November 14, 2010 at Siena Golf Club, Las Vegas.
The goal of this fundraiser is to bring awareness to the centers success in helping at-risk youths. The Richard Steele Health and Wellness Community Center is funded in part by The Luz Community Development Coalition to help reduce the impact of substance abuse. However, with the decline in community funds, it is critically important to take strategic steps to help assure the continued success of the much needed programs.
One of their many successful programs is The Leadership and Resiliency Course. A SAPTA certified SAMHSA that engages youth in discussion questions, interactive games and character education. The lessons are designed to spark conversation, help youth engage in introspection and give them strategies for daily living. Some of the strategies taught are, problem solving, stress management, goal setting, conflict resolution, etc. All these are combined with a strong emphasis on character development.
Mr. Steele is traditionally known as a legend in the professional boxing arena. However, outside the ring, Richard Steele has also made a name for himself as a community conscious person. He opened up the Richard Steele Gym in North Las Vegas and serves as manager of sports and fitness programs. This modern establishment has 6,400 sq ft and provides fitness, boxing and computer skills to troubled youth in the Las Vegas area. The facility also has a job placement center, placing youths in productive, meaningful jobs. Richard Steele’s boxing team has traveled the world competing in amateur boxing exhibitions.

GRAND EVENT LAUNCH -Party on the Greens at Callaway Golf Center – Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV. July 8, 2010 - Don Me’ Vue Las Vegas, a premiere event hostess & female Golf Caddy service provider, announced today it is gearing up for its launch of its premiere event “Party on the Greens” August 20th, 2010. This non-traditional event will be held monthly at the world famous Callaway Golf Center located on the Las Vegas Strip.
Party on the Greens is a mix of a mini tournament style nine- hole golf game with everything Las Vegas is traditionally known for. “People come to Las Vegas for fun, parties and unique activities which they don’t usually find in their own cities”, stated Dawn Ferriera, Director of Events. “Las Vegas has a magical almost fantasy like quality to it and we decided to create an event that portrays that image. Golfers are very serious about their game and when they are home they can play their traditional golf, enter traditional tournaments but while on vacation we figured we would kick their game up a notch.”
Party on the greens includes nine holes of golf, combined with 15 beautiful female caddies and local and national businesses that are supplying the golfers with food, drinks and entertainment at every hole. This event certainly bucks the trend of the serious side that golf is known for. The players are not required to be quiet when a player is hitting the ball. While silence is encouraged in a professional and non professional setting, here cheering is encouraged.
“There are many people, men and women, who enjoy playing but perhaps do not feel they are very good at it” states Dawn Ferriera, However, this venue gives them an opportunity to play and not feel pressured to get a great score, but instead just enjoy the game itself.”

GOLD DIGGER - Why the negative stereotype?
My mother always told me growing up that you can be as happy with a poor man as well as a rich one and, money can’t buy love. However, I have to say the disclaimer to that phrase is – but money sure makes it a lot easier!
I will begin by taking you back to how this blog came about. A few weeks ago I posted an ad online for women to join Don Me’Vue Las Vegas. Don Me’Vue is a private club for woman looking to date successful and affluent men. With-in seconds the first response I get is from a guy – “Oh a call out for all gold diggers huh?”. Naturally my initial reaction is to get defensive and I think to myself, “oh, he must be broke”.
I am usually a very calm and rational person when dealing with people. However, with the anonymity that being behind a keyboard gives you, it is so much easier to become a keyboard commando. My thoughts start flowing like a raging river. The sound of my fingers uncontrollably and furiously clicking away on the keyboard was intense. In my typing flurry It almost sounds as if I am sending morse code out to the enemy. I think to myself, I will show him. I will tell him what a loser he is, how no woman wants him because he is a cheap self centered bum and that his p…. oh sorry, got off track, back to my story.
As a sane and fairly articulate person I knew not to do this .I’ve learned not to post my initial reaction but instead look at what is being said and analyze the intentions and thoughts behind it.
So I sat back a few minutes and thought about it. Why is it that some men perceive a woman who wants financial security considered a gold digger? Doesn’t society say that we are judged by the company we keep? So, If I am a successful woman wouldn’t I want to be with a successful guy?
Then my ire rose again when I reminded myself when a man wants a woman who is considered “Arm Candy” is that not the same thing? Of course it is. So, why the double standard?
I calmed myself down and responded to my earlier poster and asked him the same thing. “We all have likes and dislikes in a relationship. A lot of women prefer a man who can provide financial security and a lot of men want a woman who he can have on his arm as “eye candy” – what is the difference?”
I was ready for the great debate. My hands on the keyboard, clicking refresh over and over, waiting for his most articulate response. Needless to say that did not happen.

New Trend in Dating in Las Vegas – Exclusive Dating Club Accepting Pre-Launch Membership Applications
May 6, 2010 - LAS VEGAS, NV –Don Me’Vue Las Vegas , an up and coming private dating club arriving on the scene in Las Vegas, has announced plans today to start accepting pre-launch membership applications on their website - http://www.donmevuelasvegas.com/.
Don Me’Vue Las Vegas is an exclusive and discreet dating club for affluent men and woman visiting or living in Las Vegas. Don Me’Vue Caters to a high end, clientele while incorporating a new and fun trend in dating.
“Most successful singles today are looking for a date or relationship but have little personal time to do so. The Don Me’Vue business model combines the convenience of taking the fear and uncertainty out of online dating by organizing Saturday night singles mixers in a fun and safe environment with the uniqueness of personal concierge services to pre-plan the date,” states, Dawn Ferriera, Director of Marketing. “Many affluent and successful singles are reluctant or even discouraged to do the nightclub scene to find other available singles. Worse yet, singles spend almost 80% of their waking time at work but policies have been implemented to discourage romance between co-workers and it can be a huge risk to their job security. So, it leaves singles little options and that is why we believe our dating club will be a huge advantage for singles looking to meet other singles”.
Don Me’Vue Las Vegas is a membership based private dating club. Members may apply for a free one year basic Diamond Club or Platinum Club membership. Included with that membership is an all access pass to the website, opportunity to attend the Saturday night singles mixers and purchase upgraded membership date packages.
Dawn Ferriera, of Don Me’Vue, also explained the one unique benefit of their service that makes them the premier dating club. “Las Vegas is one of the largest adult vacation mec’cas in the U.S. and boasts some of the most luxurious resort hotels, five star fine dining and hottest nightclubs in the world, but what fun is it to experience it alone. Our service caters to those singles as well. They can come to town, purchase a date upgrade package, attend our singles mixer and they can meet someone to enjoy the beauty of all Las Vegas has to offer without the time consuming task of planning all the details.” Not all singles are looking for a long term relationship or expect a love connection but would like to share a night out with a great person they can enjoy it with”.
